David is a freelance professional trombonist, recently working with orchestras Southbank Sinfonia, Bruno Maderna (Italy) and Jeune Atlantique (France). As a soloist he has performed the Grondahl Trombone Concerto and Bourgeois Triple Concerto with Cambridge Orchestras and became the British Open Trombone Champion in 2001. He is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he studied with Eric Crees and Simon Wills.
